When you add your stay, you can see other members who will be in the same place during the same month — the housemates and neighbors you're about to share your days with — and start a conversation before you land.
How it works
1. Create a profile. Share your first name, a photo, your age range, home country, languages, interests, and work style. Adding a faith community is optional.
2. Add your stay. Tell us the place and the month. Places include Comanche, Texas; Sarasota, Florida; Boston, Massachusetts; Durrës, Albania; and Yunnan, China — or type any city.
3. Explore who overlaps. Pick a place and a month to see members whose stays overlap with yours, including their first name, photo, and interests.
4. Say hello. Tap "Send hello" and a private chat opens. Messages are visible only to the two people in the conversation.
Your dates stay private
Finding housemates abroad shouldn't mean broadcasting your travel plans. On MeetNomad, other members only see the place and month of your stay. Your exact dates unlock only for members you have mutually connected with — both of you have to accept. Our Privacy Policy explains exactly who sees what.
An introduction service, not a housing service
MeetNomad helps you meet people; it doesn't rent rooms or arrange housing, and we are not a party to any arrangement members make with each other. Meet in public first
When you're ready to meet in person, do it at a public place — a café, coworking space, park, or place of worship. MeetNomad meetups always list a public meeting place and never a home address. Every member is 18 or older, verified badges mark reviewed profiles, and you can report or block anyone in one tap.
